Intermediate PM Specialist - Infrastructure / Networks

Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for assigned aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those aspects.
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Recommends action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Responsible for facility upgrades/enhancements resulting from network modernization efforts on post, camps, and stations.
Performs a variety of analyses and prepares appropriate documentation.
Prepares and makes briefings and presentations.
Leads team in on-site management of installations.
Assists in the development and management of project plans, including the review of task performance and work products for correctness, adherence to design concepts and user requirements, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
Minimum of ten years of experience implementing IT infrastructure programs including audio-visual projects involving large scale video wall implementations, conference facilities, and VTC meeting rooms at all classification levels.
Five years working in/with an IT project/program management office interfacing with government stakeholders and managing project cost, schedule, and risk a plus (DoD experience preferred)
Understanding of OSI Layer 1-3 concepts and architectures (Physical, Data Link, Network)
Active Top Secret (SCI eligible)
Education / Certifications / Training:
BS/BA degree in Engineering/Computer Science discipline a plus
Active industry certifications to achieve baseline DOD 8570.01 IAM and IAT Level I
AVIXA Certification (CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D) is a plus
