ILS Specialist / Logistics Analyst

Duties and responsibilities:
Experience with the various DOD logistics support functions and their automated support systems, involving maintenance planning, personnel planning, training, support equipment, test equipment, technical and logistics data, facilities support, and supply support.
Prepares logistics support documentation and source data, such as logistics operational management/user documents, integrated logistics support plans, user logistics support summaries, post-production support plans, and logistics implementation plans.
Implements logistics plans, databases, and support files to support the fielding of new complex systems or major modifications.
Responsible for developing integrated logistics support plans and conducting logistics support operations and analysis.
Lead cross-functional integrated teams with only minimal supervision.
Responsible for the property accountability with the PMO and the accountability and lateral transfer of equipment that is fielded to end users/gaining commands.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience providing ILS support and conducting logistics support analysis for Army acquisition programs.
Experience developing integrated logistics support plans for major programs
Experience in the use of DOD logistics automation systems such as Property Book Unit Supply-Enhanced (PBUSE), The Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army or GCSS-A)
Demonstrated experience using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Active Secret Clearance
Education / Certifications / Training:
Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree a plus
Understanding of DOD logistical support operations, analysis and the preparation of integrated logistics support plans for IT Infrastructure projects.
An educational background in Army logistics management and DAWIA certification such as Life-cycle Logistics Level III a plus
