Position Summary
We are seeking
candidates who are passionate about working with cutting edge prototypes supporting
our current and future military.
The selected candidate will work at our customer site in Ft.
Belvoir, VA with a hybrid of both in office and remote work. The person in this
role will be responsible for development and integration of software application
or application components. Candidate must be within commuting distance to Ft.
Belvoir, VA. This is a hybrid work environment with both onsite client
and remote (at home) work. The specific details of the hybrid work
environment depend on the project requirements and timeline with the
expectation that you will be onsite for demonstrations, tests, key meetings and
other client required activities.
This is an exciting

supporting technology evaluations, engineering test bed and demonstration
events.
Duties:
Integration
and Test Engineer will provide integration and testing of software applications
or application components to support customers and initiatives supporting
technology evaluations, engineering test bed and demonstration events.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Integrate
hardware systems to include HMD, computers, radios, and networks
- Provide
system support in field tests and events
- Analyze
and troubleshoot test script implementation issues
- Develop
reusable functions to handle common functionality in test cases
- Perform
testing, system performance, environmental and system troubleshooting.
- Assist
engineering dry runs, internal QA dry runs and customer factory testing.
- Analyze
data, study trade-offs, and prepare test briefings and write reports.
- Coordinate
with system, hardware, and software to integrate features and deliver product
releases.
- Engage in
technical interchange meetings with test team, engineering disciplines and
subcontractors.
- Understand
operating environment for supported applications.
- Execute,
test and document integration and testing solutions, COTS components and
subsystems.
- Maintain
test environment, load, and maintain software in production environment,
support deployed software on customer site
Required
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years
relevant experience or 2-5 years’ experience and Bachelor\'s degree (B.S.)
B.S. in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or applicable engineering or
science field
- Strong
integration and debugging skills and demonstrated knowledge of good
testing and QA practices
- Strong
problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills, including the
ability to readily decompose complex problems into smaller, manageable
tasks
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to
obtain a USG Secret clearance
- Must be
fully vaccinated against COVID-19, except in limited circumstances where
legally entitled to an accommodation.
Desired
Qualifications:
- Experience
with US Army hardware and/or software
- Experience
with Tactical Assault Kit (TAK)
- Experience
testing in both Linux and Windows operating environments
- Active
Secret or TS Clearance
Security
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to
classified information. Any formal job offer will be contingent upon the
incumbents\' receipt of a Secret Interim Clearance and successful adjudication
of the security clearance process.
